The Break:
Ah, the French coast. You know, it’s famous for a reason…and yes, the beautiful girl and perfect beach break thing is true. Go shred all day in the multitude of left and right sand-bottom peaks, but don’t waste all of your energy because the night life shouldn’t be missed…by anybody…ever…period.

The Swell:
Like most beach breaks, Lacanau thrives on the combo swell. Open to pulses from all angles, if there’s energy in the water, it’ll get in here.

The Locals:
It can get crowded with European surf tourists, but thanks to the scattered peaks everywhere, it very seldom gets too congested. But as always, give respect to get respect, and just be careful, they’re French.
